Application for Enrollment

Unfortunately, the Boston Renaissance is no longer accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year. The application period was January 4 - March 5, 2010. Applications were only accepted for new students entering grades K1 - 2, below describes the Lottery Process. For more information regarding the enrollment process you may contact the registrar at 617.357.0900 ext 1125

Applications are collected for the months of January and February. Once the application deadline passes the applications will be divided into three categories: siblings, Boston residents and non-Boston residents. Preference will first be given to siblings, secondly to Boston residents and lastly to non-residents.

By September 1, 2010, K1 students must be 4 yrs. old; K2 students must be 5 yrs. old; and 1st grade students must be 6 yrs. old. If your child does not meet this age criteria you will be notified in writing or by telephone.

In March there will be a lottery for students applying for grade K1 only. Names that are selected from the lottery will be offered a slot to attend the school. Students that are not selected from the lottery will make up the K1 waitlist. Students applying for grades K2 - grade 2 will be randomly placed on the waitlist.

Every student that has submitted an application by the due date will be notified of their status by mail in late March or early April. Please be advised that a child’s name is only valid on the waitlist for one academic school year.
